Why does a low temperature burn occur?

A low temperature burn occurs when an object with a temperature higher than the body is put on the body for a long time, while a burn occurs by contact to an object with a high temperature, such as hot water. Long periods of exposure to low temperature and shorter periods to high temperature can cause burns. Such incidents can even be caused by an electric blanket, as well as a HEAT CHARGER®.
